Tumblr Barrywone Blog Info
Barry Wright and Barrywone are the same person - Essays, Images and favorite songs. I write some but not all of the essays (if it says by Barry Wright then I wrote it), took the photographs, all from North America and Europe, and selected the musical contributions. The photography work wasn't easy or inexpensive.
As another project I document and write about the effects of climate change, science/reality denial and other evils of multi-national monopolistic corporate capitalism by selecting excerpts from sources I find mostly on the internet and from books that I studied a long time ago. I use my own photographs at times when dealing with these issues. I always provide sources for my stories and sometimes I reblog interesting items posted by people on Tumblr.
So my interests include art and both natural and social science – Science and Critical Theory is a specific academic discipline and my other blog is called Science – Critical Theory.
Please note all of my original photographic work is © Barry Wright. I don’t mind if they are reblogged as long as credit is given to me (Barrywone) for the original image. If you want to use one of my images for any other purpose please contact me directly. They are available for purchase from Imagekind.
I’m sorry but I can't follow everyone who follows me and I can’t and don’t devote a majority of my time to blogging Tumblr. If you reblog my research, photographs or music and we have at least some common interests then I will probably follow you in return. However if you follow me but none of these other things happen, then I have no idea why you decided to become my follower. Perhaps you could explain because I won't be paying any attention to what you post.
However if all you do is reblog others and do nothing original then I really can't take your efforts very seriously.
For those who are still reading I was an only child, grew up in a small town and both my parents worked. As a result I had to figure out how to deal with problems on my own. This is good actually, I learned to be creative. However I’m shocked when I see what some will do in front of a camera and put on the internet This all puts limits on who I will follow and reblog.
Anyway I have multiple college degrees and I worked for over two decades in a corporate environment that was highly stressful and demanded high skills and completed projects on time that met or exceeded expectations. I believe that if you want to change things or just make something out of your life, you will have to do what I did and work for it.
